LW-9344 Cooler Module’s Forced Convection Heat Transfer Apparatus

Introduction
In IT industry, cooler modules’ capability under forced convection condition –
thermal resistance is crucial for products’ performance and long-term reliability.
Furthermore, thermal resistance (R) and air flow rate (Q) are close to each other.
As a result, RQ relationship becomes a subject for IT products’ research.

In this experiment, we focus on RQ relation, study each parameter
that might affect RQ, measure and quantify each factor.
For instance, we check the relation of input electrical & heating power,
measuring surface temperature, applying Fourier’s Law,
production and calculation of standard air flow rate,
and how to get <3% of flow rate accuracy by following AMCA 210 standard, etc.
