1. main body of wind tunnel : vertical down flow type structure

1.1. velocity : 0.5 m/sec ~ 4 m/sec

1.2. temperature : ambient ~ 50℃

1.3. low turbulence intensity and high uniform flow field

2. heating devices :

2.1. four heaters, maximum output power : 9.6 kW

2.2. PID and manual percentage power control mode controller

2.3. two temperature switches for safety : one is adjustable,

ambient ~ 120℃ ; the other is fixed at 135℃

3. contraction unit : inlet dimension of upper stream : 300 × 300 mm

outlet dimension : 100 × 250 mm

4. test section unit :

4.1. inner dimension of test section : 100 × 250 × 400 (L) mm

in which 2 side plates of 270 mm in the direction of air flow are removable,

for changing different specimen, five pieces of supporting plates in total will

be provided for specimen.

4.2. There are space-regulating separation boards inside flow channel of test

section to adjust the width of the specimen.
